About Daniela Gavello
In the last 10 years I gained experience in the scientific research field, first ad a PhD student and later on as a post doc researcher, with particular interest in neuroscience and neurophysiology. I am in vitro electrophysiologist, working both on neuronal cultures and cell lines, with knowledge of cell biology and data analysis. I am author of 12 scientific papers (6 as a first author) related to my research. I am specialised in the electrophysiological characterization of ion channels and neurosecretion, either as basic research or drug screening of pharmaceutical compounds. Besides research activity, I am an assistant performing teaching duties at the University of Torino for the following courses: general physiology and animal biology at the faculty of pharmacy.
