About Daniela Herane

C-level executive with 20+ years of experience in business administration, finance and commercial strategy in retail and agroindustry. CFO for 15 years at Valbifrut, an agriculture business group fully integrated into producing, processing and exporting walnuts in Chile. Led the financial strategy during the professionalization of the group from being a small family owned company into one of the top 3 walnut exporters in Chile. Put together and led a very motivated team in charge of defining and setting up the capital structure of the company, improving its cash management, and structuring long term loans facilities to support an aggressive organic growth of 10 times throughout the period. Participated at the Chilean Walnut trade association as member in different boards committees. Since leaving CFO position in 2021, have been acting as Valbifrut Director, joined Simón de Cirene foundation as a mentor for entrepreneurs and also provide administrative and financial management counseling as an independent advisor. Commercial Engineer, with mention in business administration, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Languages: Spanish (native), English and Portuguese.
