About Daniela Korn

I’m Co-Owner and Head of Employment law at Tan Ward. With 17 years’ experience at West End and City firms, I represent employers and executives across various industries with a focus on technology, media, music, games, film, TV, and fashion. As Co-Owner of Tan Ward, I want to give talented lawyers an alternative to the partnership model. One with autonomy, transparency and absolute control over earnings and work-life balance. Tan Ward is expanding, and we would love to hear from lawyers looking for a new way of working. My background… Having worked in City and West End firms, my experience has been sharply focused in the media sector. I advise on a wide range of issues including employee relations, disciplinary, grievance, redundancy initiatives, tribunal proceedings, TUPE, contract negotiation, D&I initiatives, workplace disputes, remuneration schemes and strategic HR support. Unusually for a UK lawyer, my work has led me to build up extensive knowledge of global employment law, particularly EMEA, the Nordics and APAC. My client base is diverse including global organizations, SMEs, as well as senior execs. It keeps my work interesting, exciting and helps me stay a rounded employment lawyer with true visibility of all sides of the coin. I understand the specific employment challenges within media and balance these with the commercial and project objectives of my clients. My approach is always solution orientated. Why Tan Ward?
