About Daniela Mita

I'm a passionate designer with a background in architecture and interior design, currently pursuing my Bachelor of Architecture at Drexel University. I bring over five years of professional experience in residential, commercial, and lighting design, with a strong focus on thoughtful, functional, and visually compelling spaces. My work spans from designing high-end kitchens, master suites, and custom closets to developing full drawing sets including demo, floor, electrical, and finish plans. I regularly collaborate with clients on selecting finishes, fixtures, and furnishings, while managing material libraries and surveying existing conditions to inform design decisions. Currently, I’m exploring the beauty and cultural richness of Moldovan and Romanian traditional ornament in my senior project at Drexel University. This ongoing research is close to my heart and deeply informs my creative process, as I seek ways to reinterpret heritage through contemporary design. Skilled in tools like Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, Enscape, Photoshop, and InDesign, I’m also experienced in project coordination platforms such as JobTread and Procore. Fluent in English, Romanian, and Russian, I thrive in diverse, collaborative environments and love building bridges between design vision and real-world execution. Always curious and open to new challenges, I’m eager to connect with others who are passionate about architecture, sustainability, and culturally rooted design.
