About Daniela Niculae

I am part of the Divanul Verde team - a startup that aims to guide companies to navigate toward sustainability, providing consulting to accelerate and implement their transition to responsible business. With 18 years of professional experience in a corporate environment, extensive managerial skills, and experience in working with diverse cross-functional teams, I developed and successfully implemented numerous applications, leading teams and projects that benefited one of the largest IT & C companies in Romania. My passion for ecology led me to act, using my experience and knowledge for projects that can strongly impact the environment, society, and economy, inspiring businesses to fight climate change. To expand my knowledge of specific aspects of sustainability, I am continuously learning and keeping up with the latest trends in the sector. I studied sustainability with the best experts in the field, attending Cambridge courses (CISL) and obtaining: a Business Sustainability Management certification. Certified FEE (Foundation Environmental Education) Academy - for coaching Schools to become responsible institutions like EcoSchools. Along with the Divanul Verde, I am a supporter of the TCFD (Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures) now transformed in ISSB- with CDSB (Climate Disclosure Standards Board) certifications for Corporate Reporting on Climate and environmental matters, issued by CDP. And I am also Certified with the Environmental Management System (EMS) Auditor Training Course (ISO 14001:2015) issued by the Q.H.S.E. Learning Center.
