About Daniela Serra

My name is Daniela (Dani) Serra, and I am from Vernon Hills Illinois. I am currently a full-time student at Indiana University studying Marketing and Professional Sales at the Kelley School of Business. I’m passionate about creative strategy, consumer insights, and bringing ideas to life through collaboration and strong communication. This summer, I’m interning at OMI Industries, working closely with the digital marketing team for their Fresh Wave brand. I’ve been involved in competitor audits, market research, and sales strategy projects, and I’ve had the chance to build internal resources and presentations that support both branding and business development. On campus, I serve as the All Member Experience Director for my sorority, Kappa Kappa Gamma, where I help lead planning for events and foster community within our chapter. I’m also a member of Marketing HER Way and the Social Media Marketing Club, which give me opportunities to explore the creative side of marketing and connect with like-minded students. Previously, I worked as a waitress at White Deer Run Golf Club, which taught me how to multitask, stay organized, and deliver great service under pressure, skills that carry over into everything I do. I’m always looking to grow, learn, and contribute to teams that value creativity, collaboration, and a positive mindset.
