About Daniele Mrozek

As an aspiring Physical Therapist, I am eager for opportunities to expand my skill-base and gain connections. I have spent the majority of my undergraduate years volunteering at Occupational Therapy clinics, working as a Physical Therapy Aide at 3 Dimensional Physical Therapy, and being a lab assistant for numerous courses at the University of Puget Sound. In these roles, I have learned that I thrive in environments that foster teamwork, organization, and effective communication. I am hard-working and dedicated, allowing me to become involved and passionate in my Exercise Science major. I believe that the leadership confidence I have gained through my journey at Puget Sound has been a contributing factor to the success of the Exercise Science Club this year. As President, I have been able to effectively increase the allocated budget, as well as triple the student attendance to the American College of Sports Medicine Conference this spring. The higher club moral attained from this trip has been essential to increasing awareness and encouraging participation to the annual Relay for Life sponsored by the University. Following my graduation from the University of Puget Sound, I was accepted into Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine's Doctor of Physical Therapy Program. Here in St. Louis, I have had the opportunity to learn from some of the most talented people I know. I have recently completed two clinical rotations in Outpatient Orthopedics and Acute Care at Barnes Jewish Hospital. I am developing special interests in Pediatrics, Women's Health, and Acute Care. I hope to be able to further build my experiences and enhance my growth in the healthcare field as I continue to make progress in my Physical Therapy aspirations.
