With over two decades of experience in the non-profit sector, I've spent nearly my entire professional journey in one organization - a place where I've 'grown up', soaked up invaluable experiences, and cultivated a profound love for what I do. I started my career as an Education Coordinator, delved into the creative aspects of web design and graphic design, and helped transform policy into training. As an Instructional Designer, my passion for creating engaging eLearning courses bloomed. Stepping into the role of Director of Multimedia and Instructional Design, my creative vision broadened, and I learned to think strategically, a skill that was further honed during my tenure as the Senior Director of Education. As the current V.P. of Learning & Development, I tackle the challenges of managing various stakeholders, each with their unique ambitions. Yes, the path has been replaced with a sense of responsibility, but it is a challenge I cherish every day. I love thinking through the needs of my team and stakeholders, striving to create a balance that serves everyone. I am a strong believer in the power of creativity, learning, and shared experiences, values that underpin every aspect of my work. The accomplishments and growth of the team I lead are my biggest rewards.
