About Daniell Day

Continuous improvement is not just a management catch cry, for me it’s a way of life.Completing a Bachelor of Commerce (Economics) has improved my research and analysis skills, but this academic goal doesn’t come close to define who I am and what I have to offer. While gaining my Electrical Licence (Electrical Fitter/Mechanic – QLD) in the elevator industry I realised that my passion was in business administration and analysis and not tools and motor rooms. This is when my career really took off, academically through completing a Bachelor of Commerce (Economics) and Diplomas of Business Management and Business. Not content with just showing up and paying my fees I excelled, earning the Griffith University Award for Academic Excellence in 2011, gaining the highest mark in the Franchise and Small Business subject and High Distinctions in Econometircs, Business Statistics, Business Infomatics and the Economics Internship (I really like numbers). My motivation in both career choice and academic achievement can be summed up in one word… efficiency. If a service can be delivered in a more cost effective or resource efficient way, I’ll find it.
