About Danielle Baker

A bit about me: I love the camaraderie that comes with a shared goal, a shared purpose, and a shared challenge. I love listening to other perspectives, helping opposing parties finding common ground, and changing minds (including my own). I love winning people over—both clients and colleagues—with a bit of diligence, reason, and flexibility, and earning the trust and respect of my colleagues, peers, and mentors. I’ve spent the past 12+ years launching products, managing external partnerships, unveiling new microsites, creating compelling messaging, and finding creative ways to reach—and move—my customers. Five years ago, after my second son was born, I left my job as a product marketing manager and founded Grey Marketing Group—a 1-woman consulting firm specializing in marketing strategy, messaging development, email campaigns, product launches, CX program management, and more. I also co-lead the parent council for my son’s Catholic school where I create and execute on a yearly calendar of events, fundraisers, and extracurricular activities to benefit a small early education center with 95 enrolled students. This includes leading monthly meetings to communicate progress toward goals, delegate tasks, and plan for upcoming events; writing and designing email communications to families; and spearheading fundraising activities, like our annual Walkathon, which raised over last spring.
