About Danielle Bamford
I attended the University of Massachusetts with a bachelors degree in psychology. I have worked with people of all ages 12-65 years old in residential homes with varying disabilities, mental health issues, and other needs. In 2011 I obtained my Certificate of Alcohol and Drug Counseling and subsequently a license in substance abuse counseling (LADC) in 2013. I went back to school while practicing as an LADC and will graduate from the University of Southern Maine with a masters degree in science of education counseling in 2018. I look forward to helping students within the school system through building relationships, implementing curriculum, and assisting in social/emotional, career and academic needs with the use of solution focused therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy.
