About Danielle Becker

I am currently going into my fourth year of schooling for my Bachelor's degree in Finance and Spanish at the University of Wisconsin Eau-Claire. I am able to say that I am fluent in Spanish, and have already been noticed by business companies for not just my second language advantage, but my work ethic and skill set in the business setting. Having started being an intern the summer of my second year of college for an insurance company, I have learned and experienced so much of what there is to know when discussing the term "real world." The business setting is a great place for myself due to the fact I am a very rational thinker, yet able to think outside of the box when needed. I also consider myself a very outgoing, as well as determined person, which has allowed me to effectively network and gain fantastic learning opportunities that only personalities similar to mine will run into throughout life. Not only just my extroverted personality, but my ability to speak fluent Spanish gives me that much more of an advantage compared to those around me. With that being said, the combination of me craving a reputable good work ethic, and willingly communicating with people has only helped me within my intern career, along with my life in general. I believe that in order to be successful, you need real and various experiences under your belt. Personally, one of my most impactful experiences thus far has been studying abroad in Valladolid, Spain for nearly six months. On top of successfully helping me become fluent in Spanish, I also gained a vast array of cultural perspectives, which then correlated with their business life and how they define success. As I mentioned before, I also believe in working hard, therefore, I make sure I am involved. Being a student gets to be busy, however, my close group of friends could vouch for me when I say I embrace the busyness, and own the situation. When I am not in school during the summer, I am working two jobs and keeping up with my hobbies of working out and photography. With my life path only up until now, already bursting of rich experiences and successes, I look forward to the career aspect my future holds, and the obstacles that will challenge me to become a mentally stronger individual. I plan on making a difference in this world and hold my goal oriented up-bringing, so keeping on track to continue down the Finance and Spanish route with full speed ahead is just going to be the beginning of my success story.
