Held various policy, project, administrative and correspondence positions in the BC Public Service, joined Occupational Health and Safety and Occupational First Aid Committees and co-chaired a divisional Employee Engagement Committee. I also participated in various projects such as being the project lead for a large branch move to a new building and updating the Ministry of Health Executive Correspondence Manual. Dedicated hours of athletic training in a leadership position for club level rugby with the Premier Men, Premier Women and U19 Men's teams. Conducted thorough patient history assessments and provided quality custom knee braces for 107 clients over 3.5 years. Provided administrative support for 4 medical professionals throughout the work day, processed, communicated with and billed up to 45 clients/day, answered 40+ phone calls/day, cleaned the floors in the clinic every 30 minutes and answered emails. Fabricated, fit and adjusted pairs of custom-made foot orthotics, constructed 20 custom-made toe and foot splints, fit 200+ ankle/wrist/elbow/knee braces and sanded 150+ custom full-length shoe raises. Researched and created 2 informational patient brochures on shin splints and knee bracing and gave several Power Point Presentations for other medical professionals. Supervised, educated and coordinated up to 20 university-aged students per semester in an Athletic Training sports environment for 2 rugby seasons (September-April).
