About Danielle Bowers

I have been working in veterinary practice as a part of the client care team since July 2017. In that time I have acquired a number of different skills. In veterinary, no two days are the same. There’s always different obstacles presenting themselves so you have to think fast and find the best solutions for both clients and colleagues. In my time in practice I completed my accredited Bronze, Silver and Gold BVRA award and become one of my practices first ever Registered Veterinary Receptionists. I’ve also had the opportunity to compete a level 3 customer service qualification which is always being put to good use! I am fortunate enough now to have made my way up to a client care team leader where I have the pleasure of supporting our team and encouraging development and training. Being a Registered Veterinary Receptionist has also given me the opportunity to become a BVRA (British Veterinary Receptionist Association) council member which allows me to use my experience and knowledge to help show others the importance of our role and encourage it to be an established career choice. Before joining the veterinary industry I worked for 4 years in hospitality and catering where I started as a waitress and worked my way up to Assistant Manager. In that time, I learned a great deal of customer service skills as well as managing a team and business. I was able to go on lots of training courses including gaining my own personal license. I also had the opportunity to carry out a Level 3 NVQ in management in hospitality and catering.
