I'm a writer and strategic communications leader with a special place in my soul for education and mentorship. In addition to leading organizational communication strategies, social media execution, email/digital campaigns, scripts, websites, press releases, RFPs, and crisis communications, I've worked in high-pressure, high-visibility, deadline-driven environments helping to secure firms with millions of dollars in contracts. I served as a board member for the Moe123 Scholarship Fund from 2018 to 2023. Moe123 is a 501c3 non-profit scholarship fund created in memory of Mostafa “Moe” Sarim. Moe123 awarded over to local high school seniors for college. In 2021, I graduated from Concordia University, St. Paul with my MFA in Creative Writing. I'm humbled and grateful for the incredible community I found in both my fellow writers and supportive faculty. Alongside graduation, I finished my first full-length novel. My experience is eclectic and ever-growing. I am open-minded and determined. I believe in continual learning as part of the process of cultivating my potential, personally and professionally - to serve a purpose bigger than myself. TL;DR: I'm a professional AND creative writer who loves alliteration, discussing commas (I'm Team Oxford Comma for the record), and am enamored with etymology and what links people and their experiences in the stories we share. I'm an effective communicator who values deep connections, aiming for that to permeate all I do.
