I am a highly skilled and diverse Registered Nurse with 8 years of experience. I have been a charge nurse in various departments including the medical surgical floor, intensive care unit, emergency department, and labor and delivery. Education plays a big part in my role ensuring new mothers and fathers are properly educated to not only provide excellent care to themselves but also their newborn baby. Case management skills are needed to identify what resources a mother may need to care for herself and her infant when she is discharged home. The opportunity to work night shift has grown my interdisciplinary communication skills to an expert level to keep operations running smoothly even with limited resources.
