Danielle Campo McLeod is an energizing and deeply moving speaker who cuts into the raw emotional and intellectual fibre of everyday life to dramatize a breathtakingly simple reality: that you don’t have to be perfect to be amazing. Danielle is a multi-dimensional powerhouse with numerous accolades in both her personal and professional lives. A world-record-holding swimmer, top organizational executive, and an inspiring community leader and advocate, she has been awarded the Order of Ontario (2001, the youngest person ever so honoured); the Ontario Junior Citizen of the Year the Terry Fox Humanitarian Award (2005); Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II Golden Jubilee Medal (2002); and the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal (2012). Danielle is currently the National Director of Mission for Muscular Dystrophy Canada. She is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the John McGivney Children’s Centre, Child and Family Consultant Working with families and children experiencing challenges with anxiety, anger, frustration, grief, self-control, organization, learning, routines, transitions, memory, attention, ADHD, autism, confidence or bullying, Intervention strategies are drawn from decades of proven research in the psychology of behaviour, cognition and education, and are designed to suit the needs of your child’s individual profile.
