Danielle D. Davis, CFRE, has over twenty years’ experience in finance, administration and development. With a vocational background in accounting, combined with an Owens Community College Associate's Degree, and University of Toledo Bachelor of Arts, Interdisciplinary Degree with concentrations in Public Policy, Non-Profit Management, and Women’s Studies, Ms. Davis specializes in budgeting, donor relations, program-specific & general operating grant writing, grants management, funding and regulatory compliance, newsletter & appeal publication, event planning, fundraising, and fund diversification with a focus on non-profits serving women & families in crisis. In 2009, an Ohio Attorney General financial monitor credited her record-keeping and reporting as a “model for other programs in the state.” Under her management, agencies have subsequently been awarded the Toledo Community Foundation’s Non-Profit Excellence Award (2012), recognition from Bright Ideas Ohio (project of the Governor’s office) as a Best Practice fundraising model (2013), and net profit equivalent to 30% of the total agency annual budget, while simultaneously increasing programs, wages, and number of clients served (2014). Dedicated to lifelong learning and personal development, Ms. Davis earned a Certificate of Non-Profit Management from the Toledo Community Foundation (2015) & was credentialed as a Certified Fund Raising Executive by CFRE International (2016). A lifelong resident of Northwest Ohio, Danielle offers a deep commitment to the advancement of our community through the empowerment of all community members.
