About Danielle Dinkins

I am a senior at UNC-Chapel Hill, pursuing a Bachelor of Education in Human Development and Family Science (HDFS) and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. With a strong passion for supporting children and families, I have developed a deep understanding of human development, family dynamics, and the impact of psychological support in promoting positive growth and well-being. I am particularly interested in working with children and families to provide the support, resources, and guidance they need to thrive. Whether through counseling, behavioral analysis, or advocacy, I am committed to creating safe, nurturing environments where individuals can navigate challenges and reach their full potential. As a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT), I focus on behavioral analysis to support children with developmental and behavioral challenges. This certification has allowed me to work closely with children and families, providing practical interventions and fostering positive behavioral outcomes. My future goal is to become a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Registered Play Therapist (RPT), where I can apply evidence-based practices to help children and families overcome emotional and behavioral challenges. I also plan to pursue a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology, with the ultimate goal of becoming a children's psychologist. As I continue my academic and professional journey, I am dedicated to learning, growing, and making a positive impact on the lives of those I serve.
