I’m Danielle Dowling, Psy.D, a Los Angeles–based life coach, writer, and fierce advocate for women’s economic dignity. I help women stop disappearing into Motherhood, perfectionism, and old rules that never worked — so they can rise real, rooted, and wildly themselves, reclaiming the joy and confidence they thought they’d lost. For over 14 years and hours of coaching and counseling, I’ve guided ambitious, mindful women toward confidence, clarity, and the lives they most want to live. My newest passion project is also my debut book — GOOD GIRL, BAD MOM — a candid, funny, and deeply honest MEMIOR that blends spiritual insight, irreverent mom humor, and cultural truth-telling. Part Eat, Pray, Love, part Bad Moms, it’s a love letter to Motherhood in all its messy, transformative glory. Writing it cracked me open — and lit a fire. That fire became THE MOTHERLOAD WAGE ACT, a federal policy proposal and movement to recognize caregiving as essential labor and pay it accordingly. It’s bold, ambitious, and personal. Because I’ve lived the reality so many women face: the invisible labor, the impossible standards, and the unshakable truth that love alone doesn’t pay the bills. At the time I earned my Psy.D. from Ryokan College, the program was fully accredited by the DEAC — recognized by both the U.S. Department of Education and CHEA — meeting validated academic and professional standards. That education, paired with years of on-the-ground coaching, fuels my mix of practical strategy, mindset mastery, and soul-level work. Whether I’m coaching a client, leading a workshop, or writing for my community, my mission is the same: to help women claim their voice, their value, and their vision — unapologetically. Powered by resilience and faith in what’s possible, I’m here to remind you: your worth isn’t up for negotiation, your voice isn’t optional, and your vision isn’t too much.
