About Danielle Downe
Danielle is a Palliative Care physician currently working out of Nanaimo, BC. She also is part of an international Palliative Care project in Nepal in conjunction with Two Worlds Cancer Collaboration (Canadian Branch). Danielle is a former graduate student in the Master of Management of Innovation program at the University of Toronto. She completed her Medical Degree at the University of Calgary in 2015. She completed her Family Medicine residency in Nanaimo in June 2017, and completed enhanced skills training in Palliative Medicine through the University of British Columbia in December of 2017. She was granted her CCFP (PC) designation in 2023 and plans to challenge the Royal College Exam in Palliative Medicine in upcoming years. When not at work, you can find her adventuring on Vancouver Island with her family and two dogs.
