About Danielle Dykstra

I am a current employee the Autsim Therapy Group. In my current role I'm given the joy of teaching and empowering children how to reach their potential. Each session includes a variety of objectives, including teaching children how to communicate, identify their emotions and grow academically. I work alongside a team to ensure the best teaching variations necessary for each child’s success. As an employee I have been trained in applied behavior analysis and am constantly learning new ways to ensure the best leaning environment for each child. My interest in people has led me to pursue a bachelor’s degree in human services, which will enable me to expand my influence into the lives of those I work with. At the age of nine I recall telling my mother “I love people with differences.” Since then, my zeal has only increased. Throughout my years as an advanced line therapist, I have had the joy of helping mediate and implement ideas into daily routines that enable children to overcome hurdles and barriers they had faced for years prior. My current place of employment, as well as those in my past, has increased my ability to recognize the needs of people right where they are. I have received several employee of the month awards and further advancement opportunities at my current place of employment. My embodiment of strong work ethic, outstanding attendance, communication excellence, followed by a cheerful attitude has established trust and ease within the workplace. My creative planning, positive influence, and ability to prioritize continues to encourage each child to reach many of their goals with an eager attitude.
