About Danielle Freund

I have a unique background in that I was a nanny for four years. I worked for two wonderful families, and I’m thankful to be able to stay connected with them. But when the last family moved to another state, I was faced with the question: What am I going to do next? I could have looked for another full-time nanny position, but I felt like I needed to try something different. Don’t get me wrong, my job as a nanny was very fulfilling. I developed strong relationships with both the children and parents. I was able to move around and go to fun activities with the kids. I felt a sense of purpose by helping others. But while I love interacting with and caring for children, I realized I wanted to help others in a more professional setting and be in an environment where I can continually meet new people. I was raised to know the value of a well-rounded life and to never stop learning because new knowledge and experiences can only make me more adaptable and unique, like my combination of an English Writing major and a Biology minor. From my many experiences working in customer service, I learned how to interact both professionally and personally with a variety of customers and co-workers. From my years as a nanny, I learned how to be more patient than ever before and how to keep calm in stressful situations. Each role has taught me new skills to keep moving forward and new experiences to keep learning. I am diligent, loyal, compassionate, and I am always trying to expand my comfort zone.
