I am a highly trained and versatile Human Resources Leader with a proven track record of performance excellence. I currently hold a Juris Doctor degree as well as PHR and SHRM-CP certifications. Throughout my career I have been highly successful at providing senior level advice, coaching, and consultation to management on employee and labor relations, performance management, training and development, conflict resolution, change management, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. I possess a keen eye for detail and a highly analytical mindset that I use to identify creative methods of resolving employee relations issues and supporting long-term business objectives. I consistently apply active listening and coaching skills to develop relationships with diverse employee populations. I am the Director of Human Resources at United Counseling Service were I lead a team which provides a comprehensive array of human resources services, from onboarding to offboarding and all points in-between. Prior to this I served as a Human Resources Administrator for the University of Washington. I supported the IT Services Department with a strong focus on employee relations. I conducted short and long-term strategic planning and utilized my legal expertise to interpret and apply CBAs, policies, and state and federal laws, resulting in reduced legal risk. As a leader, I fostered an environment of life-long learning and development and utilized ongoing employee coaching to develop a high-performing, well-trained, and continuously improving team. I also served as a Senior HR Consultant with the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services, where I supported 1,200 employees and provided senior level consulting. During my career, I have consistently demonstrated strong leadership skills with the ability to provide employees with the tools and support necessary to achieve a high level of performance and career success.
