About Danielle Garinger

In a rapidly changing world, I believe in teaching students transferrable skills and building resilience that will aid them in a variety of fields and truly prepare them for what is ahead. Building relationships with my students fosters trust and vulnerability, which allows them to be open to taking risks, helping them realize and reach their full potential. A student's wellbeing is most important; I believe that caring for students’ physical, emotional and mental health and also providing strategies for coping with the moments of stress and anxiety that will occur, are pivotal. I believe that each student should have an opportunity to find love of physical activity whether it be through team/ individual sport or other activities that they enjoy. Understanding the importance of being physically active for life is imperative; from improving physical health, mental health, mood, and sleep, to reducing stress and building confidence. Athletics have and always will be a part of my life. I believe in growing athletes not only physically, but also working on developing their mental game and confidence, as I believe this is pivotal to excelling in sport and reaching the next level.@daniellemarija
