My experience in Human Resources has been very broad, from small business to state employment with full cycle recruiting in the public sector, employee relations, benefits, leave administration, and payroll. My education is broad as well, having taken many management and accounting classes for my associate degree before obtaining my bachelor's degree in Art - Photography. My art degree taught me the value of seeing from other's perspective as well as how to give and receive constructive criticism. My master’s focused on not only organizational development, but also talent management. The Human Resources program at WCU prepared me to be a strategic partner, analyze data, and communicate the value of my recommendations. I strive for evidence-based decision making while keeping present culture in mind. I aim to improve processes based on policy and strategy, strengthen relationships, and promote growth through servant leadership.
