About Danielle Hardley

I have recently transitioned to a new role at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla, and have joined the trauma team as a Trauma Social Worker. My passions include trauma informed care, advocating against crimes against children, human trafficking prevention and intervention, and social determinants of health.I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in both California and Florida, and am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. In addition, I have also completed a Professional Certification in Human Trafficking Prevention and Intervention from Florida State University. Previously I worked at Tampa General Hospital as an Emergency & Trauma Center Social Worker and as a Kidney/Pancreas Transplant Social Worker. Tampa General Hospital is the regions only level 1 trauma center, 1 of 4 ABA certified adult & pediatric burn centers in the state of Florida, and one of the busiest & most successful transplant centers in the United States. I am a Masters of Social Work graduate from Florida State University, graduating in August 2016. I received my Bachelors of Social Work from Florida State University in May 2015, completing the degree in 3 years. In December 2021, I obtained my Master of Public Health degree from Hawaii Pacific University.
