About Danielle Harris

Accomplished and dedicated logistics professional with sixteen years experience in the supply chain industry. Confident in her ability to unlock new levels of team success using excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Danielle is trained in many functions of transportation including; truckload, less-than-truckload, oversized freight, transloading, drayage, flat deck, reefer and dry van moves. She is also well versed in warehousing, container loading, inventory, accounts payable, purchasing, planning & negotiation. Included in her role at Edge she successfully spearheaded the on boarding of a global company’s container loading business for furtherance overseas and developed the processes for shipping documents, inventory management as well as quality control. Danielle has completed her CCLP and is always looking at new ways to improve and sharpen her skills, she has also completed a creative writing program with the University of British Columbia in March 2017 and is interested in writing a novel in the future. In 2019 Danielle successfully completed a negotiation strategies course through the CITT in which she received honours. In her previous role, Danielle was responsible for coordinating the schedules and travel for up to 500 students a week at the newly constructed CN Campus in Winnipeg. Being a new facility, Danielle and her counterpart were responsible for developing the most efficient way to schedule and coordinate many moving parts.
