I'm a bridge. My passion is to connect science with the communities impacted by it. Whether through teaching, advocating, or linking people to resources, my purpose is to invigorate health equity. I have a strong background is in public health and infectious diseases. My primary expertise is in the transmission of pathogens causing human diseases, including epidemiology, pathogenesis, and methods of control. As a treatment advocate and public health specialist, it has been my responsibility to advance health literacy and disseminate the most up-to-date information amongst my peers and the community. I am a strong planner and problem solver, who readily adapts to change, works well independently and collectively to exceed expectations.
