About Danielle Jackson

Learning and growing are my passions. I enjoy challenges that help me impact others more. Inspire others more. I began my educational career in first grade for six years followed by fourth grade for six years. I began as a Technology Integration Specialist PreK-12 the year before the pandemic. WOW! That exploded my love of solving problems for others. I had to learn so much and so fast while serving an entire district. I am feeling the need to expand and possibly go beyond what my current position will provide. Looking to embrace change and discover new journeys. Maybe with my job or maybe a career change. I love what I do, but my degrees limit me and I am not eager to take on more student debt. I also like time with my family. I have a new fascination with AI in Education and innovative models of learning. My family drives so much of what I do, and they serve as guinea pigs all the time. They enjoy some pedagogical conversations, but often express how crazy I am about teaching and learning. Their journey through education has impacted my goals as an educator and my desire to impact more students in more schools. My daughter gave a speech in fifth grade to the Commissioner of Education on live television. She was amazing and inspiring to me. I recently have added some personal joy projects to my self-care list! I now "Cricut" and paint. I paint recycled materials and may take on a summer project with my daughter that involves those fun hobbies! I spent many years spending way too much time on my career. It is my time to find balance and discover new ways to be satisfied in my desire to learn and grow. I am beyond excited that I was recently accepted into the Modern Classroom Summer Mentor experience. That is beyond awesome. I am also eager to take the Microsoft Coach Certification Course that just came out. I enjoy coaching and continue to try to find ways that enhance my impact. My impact in all my roles and including myself. Learning from the past, enjoying the present, and looking forward to the future! Being prepared is key and passion is contagious. We need to spread it more often.
