About Danielle Koontz

I am pursuing a JD at the University of the Pacific-McGeorge School of Law, and will graduate in the Spring of 2024. I graduated from Willamette University in the Fall of 2020 with my Bachelors of Arts in Biology and a minor in Civic Communications and Media. Through my experiences as a legal intern, residential advisor, collegiate athlete, softball coach, customer service attendant, and office clerk I have strongly developed my leadership, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills. Specifically, as a legal intern, I developed organizational and detail oriented skills that are necessary to thrive in the legal environment. Through my work with legal research, drafting memoranda and motions, and summarizing depositions, I understand that every detail is important when preparing for court. Also, through both my experiences as a student athlete and a softball coach, I work well within a group of people from different backgrounds. My experiences of both participating on a team and leading a team have allowed me to view both perspectives of working alongside others and supervising others to accomplish a common goal. These skills that I have developed within my previous legal work and experiences within the softball community will transition well into the legal profession.
