About Danielle Lamont

I started my career in the Public Service in the summer of 2016 working at the Canadian Food Inspection Agency within the Laboratory Planning and Operations team. My time at CFIA helped me expand my knowledge and skills for administrative tasks for my supervisor and director. From the summer of 2017 until July 2020, I worked at Statistics Canada in the Official Release, Language Services, and Respondent Communications Division. I was administrative assistant for my division but the position was predominantly “customer service” oriented. In July 2020, I made my way to Shared Services Canada where I began as executive assistant for the Senior Director. Later on, I accepted the position of Project Officer and then Program Officer in the Project Management Centre of Excellence team which mostly entailed working closely with project teams for drafting reports and decks to ultimately ensure they are on track to successfully complete the project. I will begin working as Senior Project Officer for Shared Services Canada at the end of August 2022.
