About Danielle Lavitt

I am passionate about the environment and finding solutions to transition to a renewable energy economy. I am an experienced leader through coaching and mentoring youth and peers. I take pride in the settings and spaces in which I work and volunteer. I joined Stratos in January 2022 as an intern, and became a consultant a few months later. At Stratos, I work in the Science, Innovation, and Clean Economy team with an expertise in clean energy technology and innovations, rightsholder and stakeholder engagement, and environmental management. I approach my work with a justice lens through my work on projects and with clients with engagement, material development, workshop delivery, facilitation support, notetaking, research, and report writing. Recently, I have supported the facilitation and reporting of NRCan's Just Transition Consultation Series, NRCan's (i) Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage Innovation Planning and (ii) Clean Energy Technology, Investment, and Innovation Planning, Mining Association of Canada's Toward Sustainable Mining Initiative’s Community of Interest Panels, and the 2023 Inuit-Canada Table on Clean Growth and Climate Change.
