About Danielle Ling

Danielle is passionate about education, teaching, and children. She strives to succeed in teaching elementary school children and to inspire them as they learn. She is well-organized and efficient in her work. Her belief: Through her experience of working with children with a learning disability, it has definitely brought a shift in her thinking about children, school, and teaching. Assisting children in learning has made her believe that each child is unique and everyone has the ability to learn. She has come to realize how important it is for students to love learning, no matter what disability they may have. Creating a sense of inclusion in the classroom helped her gain an understanding of diversity and equality. Not only do teachers play a significant role in facilitating activities that help children engage in learning and social interaction, but students do as well, by helping each other out. Creating a positive experience with students with or without learning disabilities is an important aspect in teaching. What further stands out to her is the vital role that teachers and educators have. Because classrooms are filled with diverse groups of children, it’s important for teachers to acknowledge this aspect and act accordingly. Teachers need to encourage all types of learners and have a variety of approaches in their teaching so that the students’ learning can be maximized. It is the teacher who brings the impact and change by providing fun and positive learning experiences that are inclusive and supportive to all students. By doing this, we can help our students engage in their own learning.
