About Danielle Longworth

With over a decade of experience teaching advanced English and creative writing, I am a dedicated language enthusiast and expert in crafting compelling narratives. Currently serving as a Copy Editor at Longworth Creative, LLC, I specialize in proofreading grammar, spelling, and conventions, while also offering invaluable insights into developing tone and style. My journey in language arts education began with studies in fiction, nonfiction, and poetry at The Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts, followed by a deep dive into autobiography and memoir at Lesley University. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Arts and Letters with a double-minor in Human Development and Cultural & Regional Studies from Prescott College. I am also a certified Subject Matter Expert Teacher in English with a second certificate in Teaching English as a Second Language. I bring a unique blend of academic rigor and emotional connection to every project. As a Subject Expert Teacher at BASIS Prescott, I've had the privilege of guiding students through courses like The Art of the Narrative and AP English Language and Composition, along with fostering a love for literature and writing in various other settings. From mentoring teachers to advising on senior projects, I thrive on creating transformative learning experiences and empowering others to excel. Let's connect and explore how my passion for language and storytelling can elevate your next project.
