About Danielle Lowrey

Competent. Independent. Tenacious. As a certified Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), I perform laboratory testing that is vital for healthcare practitioners to diagnose and treat patients. My work spans across multiple departments (chemistry, hematology, blood bank/immunohematology, and microbiology), where I perform a large variety of testing on patient samples. Whether using manual techniques like microscopy, working with advanced instruments, or compiling technical data, I proudly use my skills to improve laboratory quality and efficiency. In my role as a Laboratory Supervisor, I oversee method comparisons, instrument validation, proficiency testing, and quality control review. I am a first generation graduate with a drive to succeed and a commitment to lifelong learning. I was one of two students selected by Arapahoe Community College for the honor of joining the 2014 USA TODAY All-State Community College Academic Team. I graduated from CU Denver with distinction awarded by the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, and also earned Cum Laude honors from the Department of Integrative Biology. I continued my education at the Colorado Center for Medical Laboratory Science, where I completed a rigorous program that qualified me to sit for the national board of certification exam and earn my certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS).
