About Danielle Lysen

For the last four years I built the People function at Vetted, a remote-first global startup that grew through Series A, three M&A processes, and a full acquisition into Yahoo. As the first People hire, I built everything from scratch: handbook, HRIS, onboarding workflows, compensation philosophy, performance cycles, culture programming, and the operational infrastructure that kept a 60-person team across 15 countries running. When the acquisition closed, I led the full corporate dissolution solo. I operate at the intersection of EA, operations, and People Ops. The best work I've done lives where all three overlap: anticipating what leadership needs, building systems that work, and making people feel genuinely supported.
