About Danielle Marcoccia

I am a friendly, energetic, young woman eager to apply my knowledge and dedication to helping day to day lives of those within the community. I am able to take initiative, demonstrate leadership skills with a positive attitude and communicate effectively under demanding circumstances. I am capable of planning and implementing therapeutic programming while ensuring a safe and comfortable milieu. I have had a variety of experiences coordinating programs and events as well as working in many child and youth centered environments. Throughout my experiences in multiple environments and positions, I was able to acquire various skills which include administration and organizational skills and am able advocate and offer the most I can to ensure the happiness of the person I am assisting. As for my supervising experience, I was a Facility Program Supervisor for two Community Centers within the city of London for three years. Throughout my time as a supervisor there, I was able to acquire various skills which include creative problem solving and decision making, administration and organizational skills as well as resiliency. I ran different programs for a variety of ages, toddlers to seniors, as well as oversaw a team of staff. I opened and closed the buildings along with overseeing the cash on hand. I was most recently employed by Community Living London from the beginning of April 2020 to August 2022 and through my practices, I have been able to obtain numerous diverse skills which include creative problem solving and decision making, administration of medication and program organization skills as well as resiliency. My role consisted of supporting individuals with complex trauma, behavioral challenges, major psychiatric disorders, and dual diagnosis. I am committed to personal and professional growth and development through new opportunities and look forward to applying and enhancing the skills I have acquired. I am confident I have the capacity to ensure the safety of individuals served, encourage empowerment and conflict resolution, while maintaining a calm and respectful environment for those involved. I am passionate about the wellbeing of others and believe I will make an indefinite impact on each individual I encounter.
