About Danielle Mets

Why Sales? Initially it was my goal to the travel around world. I had the ideal image of traveling to sunny countries; the hotel life and making contact with people of different nationalities. This all really attracts me. I'd like to make people happy. If there are problems, I'd like to solve them. After I finished my education, I started working as a receptionist. Not in warm country, but just in my cold little country. I enjoyed working for this company mostly because of the connection with people. Nevertheless, the idea of going abroad began to tickle. I wanted to master the languages better and went to Germany for six months as an Au Pair. During this period the German language became my second native language. I had a fantastic time, but it didn't end up being satisfied. I missed something. Back in The Netherlands I found a job in sales. That work was much more fulfilling. Transferring product knowledge to the customers, finding solutions and customer focus that leads to the complete satisfaction of the business relations…and then I knew: that’s my job! This job was only available for one year, but soon I found a similar job. For 7 years I have worked in a growing company. My activities in this company were making quotations, booking orders, monitoring delivery times, arranging transport, making export/customs documents, arranging for embassy legalization, going out with business relations and travelling abroad. Then I felt like doing something differently: mainly working with and meeting other people and working in a different branch organization. I started working with BARTEC. With great pleasure. I have been working for BARTEC for 19 years now and I know for sure that the sales is where my heart belongs.
