About Danielle Miller

I aspire to work in the medical field, specifically in humanitarian aid, higher education, and law. I'm originally from West Virginia, and my rural roots have continuously inspired me to pursue humanitarian aid within the medical field. My community has made me more aware of health disparities experienced in rural Appalachia. At a young age, the lack of resources available in my community encouraged me to develop innovative solutions to challenges experienced in rural areas. The critical thinking and problem-solving techniques I have acquired through local volunteering, achieving a higher education, and global travel will serve me well in the professional world. However, I believe the most useful skill I’ve obtained throughout my life that continues to better my interpersonal communication and aid in my goals of pursuing a career in humanitarian aid and higher education is the compassion I feel for others and my desire to positively impact the world.
