About Danielle Minko

I'm a multi-disciplinary and forward thinking Recreation Professional that's created programs from scratch while coordinating opportunities and strategies that enhance concurrent and new programs, as well as corporate branding. I want to utilize my passion for working with college students to secure an administrative role within a college campus. In 2010, I was fortunate to have a faculty member who saw my potential as a group fitness instructor and helped encourage me to become a certified Group Fitness Instructor and it changed my life for the better. Throughout my years of teaching fitness classes for college credit, I found that being a part of a college campus community and being able to make a difference in the lives of college students is something I truly enjoy and feel that it is my calling. College is tough and every student needs someone to lift them up and encourage them to accomplish their goals and see their true potential. I am an effective communicator with students while having the exceptional ability to influence their thinking, helping them to create/maintain relationships and build camaraderie among their peers. My specialties include administrative multi-tasking and organization, program development and management, office management, customer service, event planning and coordinating, computer software programs like Datatel, CSI, and Blackboard, leading multifunctional and diverse teams, collaborating with multiple university personnel and departments, constituents, and members of the public, and assisting with the multi-faceted and complex subjects that are needed for departments to run smoothly. I feel that I can only continue to grow by expanding my professional development with an administrative on-campus position where I can work with university personnel to help their departments reach their goals and make the overall student experience the best it can be while making an impact with students on a daily basis.
