Background

About Danielle Owiredu

Graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering Technology Honours in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Johannesburg, I currently serve as a Metallurgy Intern at Seriti Resources. In this role, I contribute to production performance, mass balance reporting, sampling, and process optimization, while actively collaborating to address plant challenges and operational improvements. My professional experience spans multiple commodities and processing environments, including electronic waste recycling, gold tailings retreatment, and coal processing. Exposure to these diverse operations has strengthened my ability to adapt quickly, analyze complex process data, and apply structured problem-solving across different value chains. An earlier internship at EWaste Africa further developed my understanding of project planning, sustainability integration, and operational execution.I am now seeking to transition into a consulting environment, where I can leverage my broad commodity exposure, analytical skillset, and on-site operational experience to support data-driven decision-making, process improvement, and strategic problem-solving across client operations. I am particularly interested in roles that combine technical depth with stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement.
