About Danielle Plouffe

As a Curatorial Assistant Intern at Historic Royal Palaces, I contribute to the research and development of exhibitions and articles that showcase the rich and diverse heritage of the royal palaces. I work with a team of curators, conservators, and designers to research, interpret, and present the stories and collections of the palaces, engaging and inspiring visitors from different backgrounds and interests.I also serve as a Volunteer Collections Assistant at The William Morris Society, where I support the management and care of the society's collection of objects, archives, and books related to the life and work of William Morris, one of the most influential figures of the Arts and Crafts movement. I assist with cataloguing, digitizing, and conserving the collection, uncovering objects and information previously unrecorded within the society’s archives. This work not only contributes to the accessibility of the collection to the public, but also preserves it for future generations. I have recently completed my M.A. in Museum and Gallery Studies at Kingston University, where I expanded my knowledge and skills in museum theory, practice, and management. I also have a B.A. in Cultural and Historic Preservation from Salve Regina University, where I developed my interest and expertise in historical research and interpretation. I am passionate about finding ways to touch more lives with powerful historical encounters, and I aspire to become a curator, collections assistant or a museum educator in the future.
