About Danielle Rackley

I recently relocated from Miami, USA to London, UK to pursue a career pivot from entertainment and advertising to artificial intelligence. I'm currently earning my MSc in Artificial Intelligence Strategy at Brunel University London, where I’m developing a strong foundation in business, strategy, ethics, and computer science. Previously, I worked as a project manager and copywriter (some of my jokes are in the cover photo above). My passion lies in ensuring AI is used responsibly and equitably, especially when it comes to generative AI in art. With a unique background that bridges creative industries and operational roles, I’m now focused on transitioning into project management within tech, AI, advertising, or media. If you break down the job responsibilities and day-to-operations of most roles in the film, television, and advertising industries, project management is the engine that runs the machine. While not all of my previous jobs held the title of "project manager", my jobs at Duolingo, TBWA\Chiat\Day, Phiphen Pictures, and William Morris Endeavor all required robust project management expertise. I am studying for project management certifications this summer to increase my qualifications and skillsets. I am expected to complete my master's in spring 2026. When I graduate, my goal is to work for a London-based organisation. I’d love to help companies learn to use AI efficiently, while also advocating for the rights of artists. AI should do the tasks humans don’t enjoy, not the ones we do. Please feel free to connect!
