As an experienced Program Specialist with the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare (IDHW), I bring a strong background in program implementation, data analysis, and continuous improvement within public health and social services systems. My work primarily focuses on the Idaho Behavioral Health Plan (IBHP). In this role, I contribute to policy development, contract compliance, and ensure effective coordination of braided funding, invoicing, and capitation payments to maintain the integrity of the program and support Idaho’s behavioral health services. Throughout my career, I have developed expertise in contract management, stakeholder collaboration, and policy analysis, allowing me to drive service delivery improvements across complex, multidisciplinary systems. By focusing on efficiency and compliance with state and federal requirements, I work to optimize the delivery of care to Idaho's residents, ensuring equitable access to behavioral health services. My prior experience as a Practice Manager 1 at St. Luke’s further developed my skills in operational planning and management, where I oversaw outpatient ambulatory services, coordinated cross-functional teams, and ensured patient-centered care while maintaining budget oversight. Additionally, my roles as a Medical Assistant and Medical Assistant/PSA at St. Luke’s and St. Alphonsus provided me with a solid foundation in clinical, technical, and clerical support, enhancing my understanding of healthcare operations from a patient and provider perspective. With a passion for improving healthcare outcomes and a commitment to fostering collaboration and efficiency, I am dedicated to advancing the success of the Idaho Behavioral Health Plan and contributing to the continued improvement of healthcare services across Idaho.
