About Danielle Schirner

I'm Danielle and I am currently a Financial Coach for the Student Money Management Center at Utah State University. I provide one-on-one financial coaching sessions to all students with the intent to help them create yearlong plans to pay for their college education, create monthly budgets, and discuss debt, credit, taxes, and other financial topics as needed. I have a passion for family finance. I like diving into family life as it relates to our relationship with money habits, attitudes, and behaviors. I have a background in providing financial workshops in the community on various topics that impact family life including first time home buying, taxes, credit, budgeting, and debt management. I have collaborated with nonprofits and agencies to provide education and resources. I enjoy professional work environments in higher education or nonprofits that allow me to exercise my curiosity and desire to learn through research, educating others, and public speaking. My Clifton Strengths include: Achiever, Learner, Input, Positivity, and Developer. I love salted caramel Aggie ice cream, spending time outdoors, connecting with family and friends, and facilitating self-reliance classes.
