About Danielle Scudder

At its root, anthropology is the study of people. My academic background in anthropology has instilled within me the ability to work well with diverse groups of people and approach difference with objective empathy. In every endeavor, my personal and professional objective is to educate both adults, children, and youth on the importance of using social science, art, technology, and history to create positive growth in their own local economies and communities. I have extensive paid and unpaid experience with community outreach in structurally oppressed and under resourced communities, relationship building in under-resourced schools, program implementation and management, writing (creative and technical), social media, website management, content management, graphic design, training creation and facilitation, DEIA initiatives and trainings, DEIA rubric creation and implementation, customer service, LMS management and design, survivor advocacy, mental health advocacy for youth, academic research, teaching, tutoring, ethnography, photography, videography, video production and editing, art and art history, farming, nutrition education, intercultural interaction, cross-country traveling, and archaeology. These myriad, fulfilling experiences have given me a very unique and diverse personal and professional perspective and allowed me to gain marketable and valuable skills. I am also a fast learner, an adaptable and flexible employee, and I handle conflict management well. Respect is one of my most important values and is pivotal to maintaining both professionalism and compassion at all times, as well as paving the path for social progress and equity.
