I currently work for Affordable Dentures as the Office Manager for our Mount Laurel, NJ location. I have experience with organizing office operations, supply ordering, scheduling patients, handling very busy phone traffic, processing insurance claims, dealing with various customer and team member interactions, AR/collections processing, presenting (and collecting for) large treatment plans etc. I previously worked as a dental assistant, and was in the unique position of being the assistant to three doctors with three different specialties. I worked with a general dentist, assisting with exams, cleanings, fillings, crowns, and dentures. I worked with an endodontist, assisting with root canal procedures. I also worked with a pedodontist, assisting with exams, cleanings, fillings, extractions, crowns, and space maintainers. As the only assistant for my practice, I have excellent time management skills, practice proper sterilization protocols, am familiar with various instrument setups, Dentrix, have experience with both digital and film X-rays, inventory, and the need for regular upkeep and maintainance of equipment. In the past I have worked as an Administrative Assistant for various types of employers such as an IT company, Financial Advisor, Construction Company, and doctors' offices. I enjoy learning new things and feel that I have excellent interpersonal skills that stem from my past, and current experience working around a wide variety of people.
