About Danielle Speakman

As a recent graduate of Criminology and Politics, I have gained a range of skills which I have built throughout my degree, such as generating and evaluating evidence through quantitative data, making reasoned arguments, ethical judgements as well as critical thinking and problem solving. Throughout my course, two of my modules were ‘Working with Quantitative Evidence’ and ‘Becoming a Social Researcher’. Over the years of studying these modules, I found myself taking an extreme interest in research, data and analysis. From the age of sixteen I have worked within different roles. This has, furthermore, provided me with the ability to work in pressured environments with limited time, improve my communication skills with colleagues and customers and allowed me to work within teams. I’ve gained skills through Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and the statistical data analysis software SPSS. I am a quick learner and I am extremely flexible. I currently work at Pretty Little Thing as a Quality Assurance Analyst on the App team.
