About Danielle Stone

As a Epic Patient Access Credentialed Trainer with Cone Health, I bring 24 years of experience within the healthcare field, spanning various roles. With my many years of expertise, I also hold an associate degree in IT Information System and Cyber Security from ECPI. My journey in healthcare commenced at Annie Penn Hospital at the age of 19, where I served as an ED Registration Clerk and PBX Operator. Over the years, I have expanded my expertise, taking on roles such as Outpatient/Behavioral Health/Urgent Care Registrar, Office Coordinator, Authorization Specialist, and Assistant Trainer. Throughout my career, I have been actively involved in training initiatives across three different facilities: Cone Health, Calverthealth, and Atlantic General. Contributing significantly to scheduling and EHR upgrades/system changes, showcasing my adaptability and proficiency in handling technological advancements. Notably, at CalvertHealth Medical Center, I served as one of the lead project managers for a Joint Commission-compliant policy for the Hospital Respiratory Protection Program. My responsibilities included overseeing the revamp of 3M fit testing and training protocols, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and enhancing safety measures. Beyond my professional endeavors, I am dedicated to community engagement and diversity. As the Event Planning Leader with Cone Health's LGBTQIA+ ING Group, I actively contribute to fostering an inclusive environment and promoting diversity within the organization. I am currently working towards becoming certified in Epic and completing my A+ certificate. My goals are to work within healthcare in the IT field by becoming an Epic Analyst.
